In the 20+ years since Brugel has been offered roles in more than 60 productions across the big and small screens, attracting the greatest media attention after she was offered the part in the role of Rita in the award-winning television series The Handmaid's Tale (pictured below). Brugel appeared only on rare moments in the very first season of the series The Handmaid's tale. The only Canadian member.
